"Conference Overview
The National Rural Law and Justice Alliance in partnership with Charles Sturt University invite you to participate in the 3rd National Rural Law and Justice Conference to be held in Orange NSW, 3 to 4 July, 2015.
This conference ‘Reframing Rurality: Driving Innovation in Rural Justice’ will showcase innovation in justice and legal service outcomes for rural, regional and remote Australia. The aim of the conference is to rethink ways of improving access to justice for all Australians; providing the opportunity to discuss the challenges, prospects and future focus to achieve equal access to justice across Australia. This year we focus on innovation in service delivery that improves and expands on the effective use of technology in the delivery of legal and community services. In the contexts of ending family violence, justice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, justice for women and children, and the nexus between adequate community and social services for rural regional and remote Australia-we aim to confront the tyrannies of distance and establish equality for people living in rural regional and remote Australia. This Conference aims to showcase, educate and inspire participants and presenters."
